I am installing a 302 in my '55 pickup with a Volare front end and have the motor mounts from No Limit. The left side mount is several pieces and needs to be fit in place but the instructions are vague at best. Does anyone know how these are installed? Any pictures of an installation?

I am new to the forum but have been following for many years. I have just brought the frame back into the garage after an 8 year pause. I hope to have it running by summer...

put the bolt thru the tube, and the engine side mount.
take the widest and place it nearest the steering box and from the tube to the volare clip..

take the other widest piece on the other side, make a triangle as wide as u can.

take the last piece and fill the front of the triangle..

cutting, hacking, grinding, swearing required during all this to get the pieces to work.

tack weld the pieces in place as u go once u have them fit.

remove assembly, weld, grind, finish, reinstall, tack to chassis,
remove engine, weld mount to chassis..

I used the right one and after some deliberation tossed the 3-piece puzzle into my junk pile and made my own left...
