70 F100 C4 Transmission Removal Question

I have everything done (battery, starter, tail cross member, lines, linkage, speedo bell housing bolts, drive shaft all removed). The transmission is free from the motor and sitting 2" off the face of the flywheel but there's a second crossmember that sits just below the flywheel on the motor. Here's my question. Do I remove that cross member too? Ive read absolutely nothing mentioning its removal online. It looks like quite an important cross member as it is somewhat tied into the front suspension. I dont want to remove it unless I have to. Otherwise, I cant get the face of the bellhousing to clear the cross member and come down. Im stuck between a cross member and a hard place. Any experienced help would be greatly appreciated.

Nobody? Im just asking about the cross member attached directly under the bell housing. I searched the forum and found no clarification. The transmission support cross member is removed. My floor pan does not come out.

I have a Clymer manual (1979) and there is no mention of removing the cross-frame brace attached to the radius arm brackets. If it's in my way, I would have no qualms about removing it...it's only like 8 bolts/nuts and can be easily reinstalled.

I just did this a couple of weeks ago. I took out the radius arm cross member to be able to pull my driver side header out the bottom to get it out of the way too. I didn't undo the passenger side header I left it in place.

The only thing with leaving it in place is if the transmission needs to come down some for the bell housing to clear the floor and the cross member may be in the way, but if not then I'd leave it in place.

Mine was only held in by 1 bolt on each side at the top and 1 bolt on each side at the radius arm brackets.
