New Excursion

I just got one hell of a deal, a friend of mine had this 2002 excursion with the v 10. He was having some issues with it and couldnt get it started. He called some people over to try to help and seem to be that all of them must not really be that good for my friend got so mad, he gave me the truck saying its gone. I towed it home and and looked around alittle bit more to find that the fuel pressure regulator was unplugged and for what ever reason, the hook ups for the injectors were just lightly sitting on the injector, not pushed on to make actual connection. Should I be a good friend and le him now and give him the truck back or keep it.

ok, so I dont know a whole lot about the excursions, im learning. I went to do an oil change on my new big best friend and after adding what I though would be enough with the 5 qts, it took 3 more. Is this common with the excursion or is there a chance that someone had a bigger oil pan placed.

Wow, what a friend. Personaly, I wouldnt give it back either. He knew you would eventually fix or sell it so it is what it is. Congrats and welcome to the club. I don't think you'll have any trouble getting help around here.

6.5 quarts for my 05 EX's oil change along with a new Motorcraft oil filter.
Congrats on the new EX!
