My tires on my X were 285/75/16. The sidewall is 8.41" tall and 32.8" overall. They were E load range. The 325/50/22tire sidewall is 6.39" and 34.8" overall. They were also E Load range. The new tires will be 7.67"sidewall and 37.3" overall. But they will be D load range. So even though im going to a larger sidewall than my previous tire, its still less sidewall than the factory tire. And the new tires load rating of 3415# is higher than any previous tire that I had on my truck.

WELL, I got the tires on my X. I cant believe how much better the truck rides now. There are 2 reasons why. First, more sidewall height. Second, D load range. But, believe it or not, I was able to drive just like I was when I had the E rated tires on. I rarely ever tow nor do I drive the truck like a racecar. I just hope that I get the mileage out of the tires. Overheight gave me 1 3/4" of lift even though the tires are supposed to be only 2 1/4" taller overall. I think thats because the new D rated tires actually dont flex like the old tires. If that makes sense...
