I don't think you're going to see one brand performing over another all things being equal. Fitment may be different though. I've never seen Diamond Eye in person but I can tell you the fit and finish on my MBRP is very nice. Once all the pieces were loosely bolted together I just pushed on the whole system all the way down the truck and it self centered. Tightened all the clamps and never looked back.
The only thing I would have changed and still may someday, is the 'U bolt' clamp at the base of the down pipe, to a band clamp. I centered the U bolt clamp between the heat shield and crossmember with about 1/4" per side. It's not hitting but it's close. A band clamp would give a lot more clearance.
I'm very pleased with my MBRP and when I ever buy another F250, it will receive the same system.
I've got the Diamond Eye and have no complaints. I wish it came with band clamps, though. I painted the whole setup with header paint to help reduce corrosion. They use ALOT of mag chloride on the roads here in the winter.
I am also very please with the MBRP on mine and would buy again. Good fit, aligned well, sound is great. About the same noise level as stock when cruising down the highway. It is not to loud inside even towing a large load. Has a great rumble when you get on to go pedal. I have not heard the Diamond Eye in person to compare but I think it is also a quality product.
I have the 4" MBRP with muffler on my X and really like it. My 05 350 has a 5" and sounds better IMHO. I seriously doubt there is a HP difference at my HP level but it really has a nicer tone to me. I am going to do a muffler delete on the X and see if that changes it very much.
I went with 4" stainless turbo back from Silverline. $389 delivered to my door. Easy to install and I have been happy with it especially considering the price.
Initially installed it with the muffler and then switched to the included muffler delete pipe. It is loud but not obnoxious.
Here is a link to one that I just pulled up. The price I paid was on sale but I think you can get it for around $450 plus or minus. This one includes shipping.
A lot of us have gone with MBRP. The fit is excellent and I love that they support diesel motorsports. Helps keep the industry going. And it isn't that much more expensive: Riffraff Diesel: MBRP 4" Turbo Back Aluminized
Riffraff has both for great prices and they do free shipping on all exhaust systems. Not to mention they sponsor our little forum here.

Dude! You really need to add an 'r' in your second sentence .
I generally like my MBRP. For some reason I had to remove the trans crossmember to get the downpipe in. No real big deal though. Once in, it fit great. I did have to trim the heatshield by the downpipe due to the aforementioned clamp. Again no big deal. The only "issue" i had was about a year after I put it on (still looks new), the muffler broke completely around one of the bends where it comes down to the inlet. Gave me a horrible rattle at idle. MBRP is going to cover it under warranty after I send them pics. In the meantime, I just welded a bead around it and all is well. I like the tailpipe angle and how it fits the X. As far as different brands, I am not sure if performwance wise there is a difference. You can install the muffler two ways. One with the internal baffles facing the exhaust stream, and the opposite. If installed with the louvers facing the rear, the muffler doesnt really do anything as it is not "catching" any exhaust flow. Thats the way I installed mine and it is louder outside, but not too bad inside.
Am I the only one who misses how quiet my interior was with stock muffler, etc.?
Unfortunately, the power level I'm after requires a bigger exhaust - so it is what it is. I will say, with the tunes I have now EGT's were never an issue even at 20k GCVW and if mpg's changed - I didnt notice.
