i have an issue with cutting out/sputtering... not sure how to describe it, but it is most obvious at highway speeds doing 65+ if i go to floor it or even apply steady pressure to the throttle it acts as if i'm not getting proper fuel or oil.. its kinda a steady choking keeps going but no check engine light comes up or anything.... during regular driving through town if i am to step on it i get a slight delay/heck up before it goes. i have a dp tuner chip and if i put it in stock mode i do not get the symptoms i am talking about above. so i am thinking that it is the hpop? just a thought though any help would be great as i would prefer to buy the the t500 before the prices go up if that turns out to be the problem
Thanks
Bryan
Whats the best way of going about testing fuel Pressure under a load? You think I could be fuel pump related? I thought that as well... I tend to assume the worst that's why I suggested hpop..
Thanks
I have been having the exact same problem. I have no programmer, therefore I know it isn't that. I have replaced the CPS, replaced the fuel filter, cleaned the FPR screen. I just checked the ohms for the injectors and everything was within range. I am at a total loss. I will be keeping tabs to see what else I can check.
Not yet, pretty bad i know...but its not noticeable unless I'm really getting on it at high speed so it doesn't occur often but now that you've brought up my lack maintenance i am going to look further into it... when i get some time, I'm saving for stage 1s and t500 now, i just have a feeling its prolly hpop... ill look into fuel pressure and other things, but it doesn't do it in my stock mode so that's why I'm thinking oil....
Thanks for the kick in the butt to work on this...lol
