Need help! Carb spring
Guys,
I am in the middle of replacing the ignition coils in my 1971 f250 with a 390 engine.
As I loosen the bracket to remove the coil, one spring to return the carb throttle came loose as well as a bracket that seems to come from the back of the engine to attached somewhere in the carburetor as well.
Does anyone have any close up picture of their carb installed that would show the proper location of this spring and bracket?

There is sometimes another spring and bracket mounted near the coil. The short tang of the spring hooks to the bracket, the coils locate on the other side of the vertical "wall" of the bracket, and the other side of the spring hooks onto the small hole on the idle stop bracket on the carb.
