if you dont have emissions testing, get an egr delete. if you do, get a bpd egr cooler. get the scangauge2 or edge cs/cts to see if the oil cooler is bad. go with the head studs and get new oem head gaskets, not black onyx. get a coolant filter, sinister makes a cool blue one. this is impotant to filter out the casting sand that can clog ur oil cooler.
for the programmer, get the sct x3 and have it custom tuned by like innovative diesel or some place like that. do the blue spring upgrade from ford. check the voltage of ur ficm. it needs to be 48v with the engine off but key on, during cranking, and while idleing. make sure batteries are 100% and alternator is putting out 14v at idle. also, do the turbo oil drain tube update and stand pipe and dummy plug update from ford. and update the stc fitting to the one piece one.
thanks furian. the oxycodone works for the pain, and the antibiotics are doing their job. i should be back to normal next week sometime.
and joe_r_dog, is that list all part of the "bulletproofing" that i have been hearing about? thanks for the list man, i will be doing everything i can to get a little more performance and lots of longevity out of my truck- on top of all the cosmetic and sound system stuff...
the list gets longer everyday, and i have most of what i want priced out. i keep this piece of paper away from my wife! she cant complain too much though, i did get rid of my harley and dirtbike...
