hey guys thinkin of doing a front clip switch I have a 89 with some rust so I thought I might do it instead of just fixing the fenders, also love the 92-96 body style so should i do it or not. and any pointers from anyone who has done it would be great I wanna get a parts list together
If it where me the truck was in good shape, worth the change/effort to start with. I could get one for a decent price also in good shape worth the price/effort be no question about it, while I don't hate the "brick nose" as they call it its my least favorite front end of the series.
I'd change over to the 92-96 and enjoy the fresh look, IMO its up there with the best looking front ends ever produced to date.
Pretty sure need to change the rad support with it but others here would know for sure, not a deal breaker regardless need to or not.
yeah you would have to change the rad support and fenders but if you want to do it then do it i think that some trucks can pull off the brick nose but alot cant, were as the 92-97 usually do look good thats just my opinion ,if it were me i would. got any pics of the truck?
