1976 F350 problems

truck will start and run. runs with some struggle. fresh out of rebuild. put in any gear and it will run only under it own power once acceleration is applied shuts down/stalls out. cause of problem?

Let is stall, pull spark plugs and check their condition, wet, dry ?

Sounds like a fuel problem.

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought they didn't make f350s till 79

Not sure the exact year but F350's go back to at least the early sixties and I think they go to the mid-fifties. I used to drive a '67 F350.

Yea, trucks a 1976 F350 CUSTOM . She's like a gf almost literally, dumped $3000 into her, engine alone, inside of 3 months. She better love me back is all I have to say lol.

Thanks mark a., mikeo0o0o0, and discovery, truck was out of adjustment-adjusted fuel and air on carb n distributor sitting location/position. Truck seems to be ok for now but time will tell. Thanks for the help!
