2000 PSD ABS Light

So today when i was driving to work I came up on a stop light and did the normal hit the brakes to come to a stop and my truck acted fine as i took off of from the light my ABS light came on and has not gone off since i dont know where to start any help would be awesome

yeah thats what i have been reading that they have some issues but never stop working it seems to me that nothing has changed with it other then the light is on about 8 months ago i did wheel bearings so it shouldnt be on the front are there wheel sensors on the back

The antilock brakes on the 2012 is a lot better than the 2000, but it did cost twice as much, the2000 has good brakes but the 2012 has great brakes, the best I have ever had on a vehicle.

Just because you did wheel bearings doesn't mean you haven't lost a sensor, if you chipped one of the teeth off the hub that could cause you problems or a sensor may have went out.

I never worried about it onthe old truck.

i also read that it could be a sensor on the rear end diff

could be, get a service manual and start checking it out or do an online search for how to troubleshoot the problem, don't just start replacing parts.

Check your brake lights and cruise as well. If either are not working it could be your brake light switch at the brake pedal. I was having trouble with mine. Pulled the switch out and took it apart, cleaned the contacts and now all is well.
