I had my driver side rear brake sticking for a while now. 1st, I replaced the caliper, stuck again a week later, smoking! Ordered 2 new rear brake lines, unfortunately, I ordered wrong one for the passenger side. So I just put the brake line on the caliper that was sticking & didn't touch the other. I then gravity drained all fluid, per this forum. Everything seemed ok, then my pressure hose from the Hydro Boost that connects to the steering pump bust in my driveway. At least "Ole Betsy" has never left me stranded!!! Knock on Wood!!!
So I replaced it and flushed out the old with new & topped off with pint of Lucas Power steering stop/slip. My next step i guess would be pads, I notice maybe a seal is leaking.
I was reading saturated breaks would cause sticking?
Should I do wheel bearings? Could a bearing seal be the culprit?
I want to get everything I need before I tear down my truck, so I"m not down for days.
Thanks people
Cheers!
