hey guys im new to this forum. I have a huge question, hope to get a good answer. I have an 08 f150 4x4 wanna put a 7.3 in it. Is it possible, if so what do i need as far as tranny, front end, ect.

what you need is a F250/350..
that F150 is NOT up to the weight of a 7.3 deisel.. the entire front clip and suspension, axles, diff., steering and brakes would need to go.
Also consider that if you swap a different engine into that truck, it has to meet the same emission requirements as the original. IE, it generally needs to be the same age as the truck or newer. No way a 7.3 diesel in an 08 gasser will pass any kind of emissions inspection. Might be a way around it, don't know.
