Hey
I'll be acquiring a 1989 F150 6 cylinder 4x2 with an automatic, and I was wondering if anyone has an approximation of the unladen weight of the vehicle. I'm trying to see how much I'm going to be taxed when I go to register it (it's based on unladen weight). If I had the title I'd be fine, but we're reordering the title Monday (it was lost) and I wont have it for another week and am somewhat curious.

Your best bet would be to take it to take it to a local scrap yard and weigh the thing. I have a 88 250 4x4 that weighs in at about 5,800lbs. But it's weight class is 7000lbs on the registration. My best guess for a 150, 4x2, 6 banger is 4,700lbs. If you check that please post and let me know if I was close. Good luck, Karl.........
