If you have a carb on this truck. Unhook the fuel line where it goes into the carb. You might have to take the top off of the carb. There is a tiny filter in there and it doesn't take much crap to plug it up and run bad. Clean it out and put an inline filter on it. You might have to change this filter a few times to get all the crap out. Had this happen to me.
