Wheel offset question

I have a set of 18" wheels that came off what I believe is an 05-07. Picture below(they were on my truck when I got it). Got a call from a guy with an 09 who wants to buy them. Does anyone know if these will fit his truck without an offset issue?? I know they won't fit my 2000 without the tires scrubbing the leafs.

Thanks

The should fit fine. The offset is the same.

Those don't look like '05 and up beauty caps to me, but I'm not an expert.

You called it right Bill. The fella who had the truck before me was given the wheels in the picture by a friend but he put the original 2000 center caps back on. I have no idea where the caps for these wheels went.

I appreciate you clearing up the offset question for me. I did a little internet looking but couldn't find a lot about offset on OEM wheels.

Thanks,

To confirm info on wheel offsets, you can go to the tech folder at the top of this forum. Near the bottom is a post with links to the specs for all years. The spec sheets include wheel sizes and offsets. I don't think the offsets have changed since '05, all the way through '12.

In your pics above, the valve stem holes look strange. I've been trying to figure that out.

WOW, FTE is like a new phone or computer. It's got more gizmos and Gadgets than I have time to ever figure out.

That tech folder has some great info Bill. Thanks again.

Those particular wheels had a deep inset for the valve stem to mount in. Basically just the cap and barely enough stem to air it sticks out. I guess if you do a lot of off roading it would be a good idea.
