Lokar E-brake...anyone used it?

Anyone here use the Lokar floor or transmission mounted emergency brake handle to replace the stock underdash handle? If so, do you like it better or worse than stock? thanks, Mine is a '56

I didn't get the handle because I am trying to un-clutter the floor of my cab, but I am using their cables. Full set from stock handle to Wilwood discs integral parking brake. They are spendy but smooth. Adjustment is easy.

I do have one of the Lokar shifters. It takes up very little space on the floor.

Just remembered, I am also using the Lokar kick-down cable on my C-4.

Yeah, I have the shifted too. It's nice. Figured since I cluttered the floor already, I'd try to unclutter under the dash...I'm using bucket seats anyway....

I am using the Lokar cables from the stock ebrake lever all the way back to the disk brakes. Lokar makes a cable setup that fits into the 96 Ford Explorer disk brakes that install on the 9 inch rearend. As has been said, pricey but worth it.

Here is a picture of my Lokar brake lever mounted on the floor. It works well in this location, and isn't in the way at all.

B/B, thanks for posting the pic. So yours is mounted to the floor and not the tranny? I probably will have to mount mine behind or to the right of my lokar floor shifter.

Yes, it mounted to the floor and I can still move my seat forward and backward as desired.

Well of course it to get access to storage behind the seat. Not, so my wife can drive,
