I have a 2001 F-350 drw crew cab long whee base and i haul a 34 ft fifth wheel camper all over the country working, would it benefit me to replace the stock exaust with a 4'' exaust, if so does it matter if its stainless or not?

I have a few 7.3 trucks...
I can tell you that my '99 4x4 CC has the stock exhaust system, stock type intake and it pulls very strong with little to no issues with EGTs or building boost.
My 2000 4x4 CC has a muffler delete and it's noticeably down on power compared to my '99. The turbo takes a bit longer to build boost as well. EGTs don't seem any better to me.
My personal opinion is that the stock exhaust is just fine for an unmodified engine. If you plan on power upgrades then going with a larger exhaust is probably a good choice. Remember, your up-pipes are only 2" dia so you will still have the exhaust manifolds and uppies as your major restriction even if you enlarge the exhaust from the turbo back.
Where do you live? (Asked because the Rust Belt is way tougher on exhaust than other parts of the country)
SS is always the best option, but aluminized isn't as bad as some make it out to be. Most companies these days offer a limited lifetime warranty (save your receipt) one thing that sets us apart is our 90-day risk free trial offer. Aren't happy with it? Return it for a refund.
Good luck in your choice.
The low dollar option is a Walker BTM, a basic straight thru design. 21470 is the part number, $48 at RockAuto. Cost me more to have it welded in. The stock exhaust is not bad, 3.5 inch stainless, so I figured I'd give the BTM a go, and I'm happy with it. But an MBRP exhaust sounds cooler so if/when the BTM rusts out I'll go thatta way.
