Big thanks to htcman74 for machining the Axle Nut Socket for my IPR. He did a great job! I pasted the links to my album below. I am not sure what an IPR socket costs but maybe Mark would be willing to hooks some of us up for the cost of shipping plus a little extra $$ to machine sockets for us? I paid roughly $15.00 for the socket and $12.00 round trip priority shipping via USPS.

BTW- I bought a 36mm instead of a 35mm. I hope it still works!

 

Here are the specific dimensions if you are wandering..

Socket diameter is 1.75 and the slot is .875 X 2.125.

 

Thanks for the props Shane. I would be willing to machine sockets if someone has a 35mm or 36mm that wants to be modified for use as a ipr socket. I dont slot them from the very end as to maintain some strength in case it is to be used as an actual socket.

 

I bought a new Lisle IPR socket for $20 plus tax from my local autoparts store. They've come down a LOT in the last 2 or 3 months.

 

None around here had heard of them, found prices online for around 50 -90 bucks, also a couple sites had them listed for 250. I guess it is depending on where you are located. I had to buy a 35mm and modify it.

 

Got my Lisle on eBay for $24 shipped.
