Leveling kit?

Leveling kit?

I bought my 250 about a year ago and want to lift it a couple of inches.... how do I know if I need a leveling kit?

That depends how much you want to lift it. A leveling kit will get you a max of 2 or 3 inches.

Leveling kit?

What is the difference between a leveling kit and a lift kit?

Lift kit consist of drop brackets new coils new shocks and blocks for the rear end leveling kits are just spacers abover your coils to bring the front end level with the rear. Correct me if I'm wrong guys

Basically what he said^^^. A leveling kit is just a spacer that goes under or over your coils to bring up the front. If you have a 99-04 with leaf springs in the front, I'm not positive on how that works. I guess you either get add-a-leafs or shackles or something. A lift kit on the other hand is more involved and usually gets at least 4" of lift or more.

On the 99-04 you get an add a leaf for the front end. I have been looking into leveling mine out but still too expensive lol good luck to you
