I have a 2007 F-350 PSD with the FX4 Package. I am wanting to make it a little taller, so I am thinking about doing either a leveling kit or lift kit on it. I don't want to have to use a ladder to get into it if I do a lift, so I am thinking a 2 or 4" lift is all I would want if I went that route. I am not sure really what I wanna do, so I am here looking for some advice and possibly any pics you guys have of a truck with a 2 or 4" lift, or a leveling kit.
If I went with a leveling kit, which type/brand is a good one? What do I need to look for? Are there different sizes?
If I went with a lift kit, same questions as above....but I know I would look for a 2 or 4".
I want the truck to sit as level as possible....if I got a lift and it was a little nose high, thats ok, I just don't want anything too drastic. So, that being said, what is the experts' advice? Thanks in advance for your responses!
I have a Rough Country leveling kit for my '06 F-350. I haven't installed it yet because its been really cold and snowy here since I got it at x-mas. Mine is a 2.5 inch kit. You can measure your wheel wells from the ground on the front then the rear and do the math to see how much you need to level it. There are 2-3.5 inch leveling kits. You can fit 35's under it with a leveling kit and 37's with a 4" kit.
The kit that I have is the easiest to install and the cheapest for our trucks, all it is, is a spacer that goes between the coil and coil tower and some other odds and ins. I'm thinking it should only take about an hour to install. If you go to there site, they have a 250 with the leveling kit on it, just look up the kit for your truck. I AM NOT AN EXPERT THOUGH
I found this leveling kit from Trail Master http://www.trailmastersuspension.com...ions/FL222.pdf
It seems like it uses shock extentions enabling you to keep the stock shocks? Hope this helps. I do not have this for my truck.....yet haha
I have a Revtek leveling kit on my f-350. It is a 2.5" spacer with new shocks they are better than the Ranchos. I would recomend it. http://www.revtek.com/
Als03FX4, if youre interested in that kit, I have one (new in box) that my mom bought for me (on november) from AutoAnything... but unfortunatly my truck is a 2wd so this kit wont fit on my truck... so if you or anyone is interested on it... just make me a reasonable offer for it ..
thanks

It all depends what size tire you want to run. I have a 03 and am running the 3" dr kit with 35's and I get a little rubbing. Since yours is a newer model I understand that you can run 35's with a leveling kit and get no rubbing. With the coil suspension oposed to mine with leafs. These trucks look best imo witht 35's. As far a which kit, Donahoe all the way, great product and great people. Dont even think twice about keeping the cheap azz Ranchos, get a good set of new shocks dr, Bilstien and you will be a happy man. Good luck Here are some pics of mine with the leveling kit. http://www.donahoeracing.com/cust_ga...?galleryID=216
Thanks all for the responses. I am looking to keep the stock rims if I can, but possibly go up in tire size. I have the 18" wheels with the 8 hole pattern around them. Thanks again for all of your responses!

Hey Dlinzy, the Kit I have is the Trailmaster one. Als03FX4 posted a link to their website.and btw, according to the instructions, you can keep your stock shocks by using the extensions (included in the kit).
