Here is my door lock pad. It started to become Really loose and was letting water in.

Notice the built in clip on the end. It’s not a separate part, it’s built into the door keypad.

This side is rusty but mostly in tact.

the new door pad is super easy to install. I ordered an oem one, it arrived and had a soft foam gasket glued onto it so when it snaps in it is watertight. It just snaps in. You can use a screwdriver that is SUPER thin and small to help press in on the clamp from one side to pry it out or to help get the new one in.

do Not go to a dealer. Ford Brunswick in maine just quoted me $6000 to replace it. The oem part was $60 and it took me about 10 minutes.
