Chappys4life you didn't list what truck you have but looking on your stats you have a 53.
Both my 53 and 54 have a setscrew with a screwdriver slot cut into it. Could yours have been broken off? You have enough posts to put a sig line at the bottom. It would help all of us if you listed what year truck you have in it and while your at it add where you live such as the state or area and maybe some one lives close by that could come over and give you a hand when needed.

Sorry my truck is a 53 f100 6v and mostly stock. My set screw has a semi square head with no slot. I searched on the forum and people mention the same style screw but no mention of the tool needed.
