highboy
I looked out the window and my neighbor had driven up in a super straight all original, right down to the split rims 75 highboy. it is original baby blue paint that is getting thin, mostly on the roof, and the rubber floor mat is bad, That is it, no cracks in the dashpad or door panels, the am radio works good, even the fuel economy light works.
We even found the owners manual in the glove box.
This rig has been up at a mine all it's life. Most work trucks get beat on, but it appears that whoever owned this one took extremely good care of it. The chrome bumper has one slight blemish, that we didn't notice at first, but the grill shell is about as close to perfect as you can get, the insert on the drivers side is busted though.
With new exhaust it will be his daily driver, for 1000 bucks.
I will try to get some pics.
we did find a dime size rusthole in the drivers floorboard, and a spot that is getting thin in the drivers door.
The seat needs redone bad, but even the headliner is in great shape.
We have only found one non factory hole in the interior, and that was for an auxiliary tank valve, the aluminum tag is still there , but the valve is gone, leaving about a 3/8 hole where the shaft used to be.
Under the hood everything is original looking except for a toy chrome air cleaner, And some bubba aparantly tried to use some kind of a large air cleaner. They cut a notch out of the bottom of the cowl to clear something(DUMB), it can't be seen with the hood closed though.
She is a plain jane, power steering and brakes being it.
Ih yea and the custom badge is missing off the bed, I assume it said custom.

How come I never come across deals like that?
