"OVERHEATING" 390
I have replaced the therm. the temp gauge is still reading hot. while driving home engine died and did not start. no anti freeze from water pump like its a bad pump......... confused please help.
Check and make sure the radiator's fins aren't clogged with leaves or other misc. road debris.
Check the lower radiator hose and make sure it's not collapsing.
Another "invisible" problem could be an erroded impeller in the water pump.
Also, it might be time to pull the radiator and get it cleaned.
