Gauges

We have a 2004 F350 V10. It doesn't have a factory ambient air temperature gauge. Does anyone know where we could find one that would look good in the truck?

The Excursions came with an overhead console that read the temp and had a compass on it. Several guys have put those in there super duty.

Which leads me to another thought, about retro-fitting climate control into my '01.

My '97 Cougar has it, and it easily displays outside temp, and is usually quite accurate except on hot HOT days after parking it for a few minutes.

Hey Everyone,

If you want to install ambient air temperature and a compass check this out: Retrofit Ford F150, F250, F350 Overhead Console Kits

The best look for sure.

I bought a rearview mirror head from Performance Auto. It was a little pricy at $200 (6 years ago) but it works great. It just replaced the existing mirror and then you routed the leads under the headliner and down the A Pillar. I tucked the temp sensor in a sheltered hiding spot behind the bumper.
