Tweeters / Speakers

I am wanting to put in some tweeters in the front and back of my extended cab 1999 F150 truck. I currently have factory speakers and all. Should I purchase the tweeters and speakers as a combo unit with crossovers? Or can I purchase the tweeters and crossovers separately and it work fine?

ok, tweeters are gunna need to be mounted where u think they'll sound good which is in front somewhere. id say go for the "combo pack" which is balled a component set. when/if u get the tweeters, get some velco and use that to place the tweeters to where u would like and then permantly mount them (or not if u want).
