No joke, finding the right part numbers on Rancho's site is a chore. I ended up PM'ing them here to confirm I had the right ones.
Regarding the steering stabilizer, I figured I'd give the dealer another couple days before I order the Carli setup... Plus my wife won't hassle me as much if I break up the purchases into smaller amounts..
Good point about breaking them up into different transactions. I think tire are going to be first before the stabilizers.
Kevin you have me thinking now. I had a set of Bilsteins HD's on my 2007 and I really liked how it improved the ride. Before I installed them I cleaned them and put a couple of coats of clear gloss on them to protect the finish. I remember how nice it rode with them and I think come spring I am going to buy a set of Bilsteins 5100's like you have and give them a try. I think I will do the clear coat thing again before installing them. There goes some more money out the window, they do say you can't take it with you so what the heck. I found a site that has them in stock up here in Canada for about 90 bucks each with free shipping.

where about did you find them up here?? I was thinking the same thing for mine after reading through this topic a few times. lol. On the verge of buying a new compressor for the shop.. maybe this will sway my decisions. lol.
I have a 3.5" ReadyLift installed on my truck that currently utilizes the stock shocks because the lift system consists includes 'shock extensions'. Because the stock ford shocks ride as though I'm driving a basketball, I'm looking to replace them with adjustable shocks. With that said, I'm guessing the "stock sized" Bilsteins 5100 shocks (24-186025 & 24-186018) would be the best selection?
I've been told by a friend that some of the Rancho shocks tend to make noise due to the type of rubber that is used for the bushings. Do the RS9000XL shocks make any noise that you are aware of?
First I'm hearing about it. If they make noise, I'll follow up with Rancho and will post up about it. If they can't fix it, they'll get 'em back and I'll throw the stockers back on and figure out next steps.
Not yet, gonna work on those today. My wife keeps buying xmas decorations, so those had to go up (happy wife = good day, lol)...
I did manage to get the new steering stabilizer on though (Carli Bilstein 7100). MAJOR improvement over stock, doesn't dip into every hole I drive through, holds straight. Took longer to jack the truck up (to check clearances, etc before driving) than it did to switch it out (30mins total with hand tools, never got the air ratchet out).
