NO OIL PRESSURE
I HAVE A 1989 F250 7.5. REPLACED OIL SENSOR DUE TO LEAKAGE, NOW THERE IS NO PRESSURE INDICATED ON GAUGE. I HAD PRESSURE BEFORE REPLACING SENSOR. CONNECTED AN EXTERNAL OIL PRESSURE METER AND STILL NO PRESSURE. ANY SUGGESTION

If you really have no oil pressure, then your engine would be rattling because the lifters require oil pressure to remain silent. Is your engine rattling? If not, then you have at least some pressure, you either have a broken gauge or a bad sender. If it's rattling then you have internal engine problems like worn out bearings. How many miles on the motor?

I check the rocker arms just to make sure I had oil flow. I used two of the same type sensors, and have a different type I am going to try but need to get a new EGR gasket before I reassemble. This is a new long block and I only have about 7000 miles on the engine. NO RATTLES OR I WOULD HAVE SHUT IT DOWN. Thanks so much to the advise and will let you know if the third is majic.
