good day all
I have a 91 F150 V-8. Had the truck in for servicing on the intake manifold gasket and they cleaned out the oil journals then performed a flush to remove any leftover residue. Now when the engine warms up, the oil pressure drops to almost nothing when I come to a stop. There is no lifter noise to indicate insufficient lubrication but... I did replace the oil pressure sensor just in case that was not happy but the problem persists. Please tell me it's not the rear mains.haha
Thanks for any help. As always, a pleasure to chat with you all
heres a hint, the oil pressure gauge on the dash isnt the real pressure all it is is a resistor and all the sending unit does is move the gauge if it sees that oil pressure is where it should be
