Identify this motor
Can anyone tell me what motor this is? What about the carb?
It is a 1964 F100.
Does anyone know if they came with a wood floor in the bed? Or was that done later?

It looks like a 223 which would be an J engine code on the door plate. As far as the carb no idea. Wood bed floors were in flare/step side trucks. Hope this helps.

The 4th digit of the VIN is the engine code:
J = 223 1V I-6 (standard equipment) / B = 262 1V I-6 (optional).
The triangular ID carb tag was bolted to the airhorn, If missing, look on the base of the carb for a stamped ID number, like this example: C3TF-AA.
Flaresides had wood bed floors, originally it was painted body color.

This is not a step side. But it has a wood floor in the bed. Would it be a good guess that the original floor rotted and was replaced with wood?

The truck in your album link above came with a metal floor.

Probably was replaced in the past. It would look pretty cool with some nicely stained hardwood and stainless strips and be custom too!

The tag on the door says:
Warranty number: F10BN552298
WB Color Body
114 K 481 A 12
The engine has these letters: C2TE-6015-A
Is the "Warranty number" the same as the VIN?

X2 on the above info...... but the carb looks like a holly single bbl from a late 60's 200 straight six... as it looks the same as one I had on a 68 stang with a 200 many years ago.
