water pump

i have a question i have a 96 and my water pump went out and i was wondering if a 94-95 water pump will bolt on the engine cause i have a short stem 203 stat and i dont have time for the truck to be down to get a diesel site 203 long stem, can that water pump bolt on or is it a different front cover and wont work

Yes, it will work and bolt up.
