I'm running 285's and make sure I keep em rotated. So no I haven't had any strange wear patterns such as chop or anything like that. Now I did have an alinement shop spend lots of time on this thing after I changed my ball joints. The shop I bring it to does it all by hand and does a jam up job. I know for a fact we went thru 6-7 cam bushings till he had it dead on. The plus is I was down in the pit with em the whole time and he would show me where it was off and adjusted accordingly. This was after the shop that mounted the tires from said there was nothing wrong with my alignment.

Thanks for this! I just about 3k miles ago had mine alligned at a BIG TRUCK tire place that has been in business here in town for nearly 70 years-they put a shim in one side, and said everything was nice and tight otherwise, still my tires wear like this!!

I have asked before and looked on the net for allignment specs from the EARLY '99s to toe LATE '99s up and cannot decern anything-mine is 2wd btw.

I am getting really tired of rotating every 2.5k miles to try & avoid this irregular wear.

Can it not be adjusted so it won't destroy my tires??

I think this type of wear is more in the design of the tire tread then alignment. Are yours wearing that much? Mine get the saw tooth shape to them, but it wears smooth when I rotate them and looks like a regular tire again.

Looked at my door sticker finally and sure enough it calls for 65# front and 60# rear. Yesterday I checked the pressure and compared the wear. I decided to keep 70psi up front and drop the rear to 50psi. Other than that these destinations are doing great!

Here is some more info on loads. http://www.goodyear.com/truck/pdf/edb_loads.pdf

The tire and rim association yearbook has complete data on size/load/psi. You may be able to find a tire shop that has one and get it off them when they pick up a new one. They are close to 100 bucks new.

I've got my Audi when I want a smooth ride. I'm not trying to knock fillings loose, I just prefer them aired up fully, so long as the tires aren't wearing unevely.
