New ESP?

My 2005 6.0 runs out of the ESP warranty in January. I can get it extended one more time for two years 50,000 miles for $2,500. Your thoughts. It's a bumper to bumper minus wear parts, brakes etc. $100 deduct.

Looks like you have already done some of the stuff prone to failure

All I can see that may come up is dummey plugs and stand pipes mAybe a FICM thats not worth going to the dealer for anyway cuz you get another FICM unit with the same questionable solder joints IMO maybe an injector or Ball Joints could go IDK
AN injector that blows a tip seems to scrap a moter pretty quick but doesnt happen very often

IDK IMO I would save that 2500.00 and use it if you do have a breakdown
at the rate you drive you might only hit 70,000 miles by the time warrenty is up I could be wrong but I dont see anything majoir going out by then Seems to me that your truck has been a good one

Does the SG show any sign of a bad FICM or dummey Plugs starting to leak

Nope, even the icp pressures look great. The truck has never let me down. Everything has been done proactively since my dealer has been great to work with warranty wise.

I'd re-up if I was you Mike. You've come this far, might as well ride that pony all the way to the finish line.

Hey Steve, long time no see. I was thinking the same thing. Just wanted to get other opinions. BTW, your battery blanket is still holding up, LOL. Have a happy and safe turkey day. Other opinions are still welcome however. I still have till Jan. to decide. I'm thinking about doing the same thing with the wife's Lexus. I've had more warranty work done on it than the 6.0 and more recall work also.

If the extended warranty/insurance policy gives you/wife a peace of mind,
I say do it in a heart beat. If you don't do your own work, you are risking less with the policy!
