Wts light

I have a 93 f250 7.3 and my Wts light comes on for about five to six seconds then shuts off. I am just wondering how long is normal because I live in Minnesota and she's getting kind oh hard to start in the mornings. Ate my gps bad?

I have heard that normal WTS time is 8 to 10 seconds. I just replaced all my gps' and my light stays on for over 10 seconds. Read the post at the top of this forum on glow plugs. It tells you how to test them. Use the voltmeter method, it is more accurate. Also replace with only Motorcraft Beru glow plugs, you can find them on line for about 8-10 bucks. White smoke at start up that dissipates quickly is a tell tale sign of 1 or 2 bad gps'

Good luck,

Mac.

my WTS light is anywhere from 10 to 20 seconds, depending on the outside temperatures.
