should have let them keep the fuel cap only thing you have to watch on the fuel fiters is the filters themselves theres no diffrent cap that I know of

Its the oil cap thats critical
Does the new oil cap look diffrent than what you already have
hope the new oil cap and filter doeas the trick

n they went right back in and I re lubed the orings before I put the rail in and torqued all the bolts so they are to proper torque specs. We are now rolling with a OEM oil filter and oil filter cap and I am going to change all the fuel filters again back to oem once I run it a little bit to mae sure the old ones catch any gunk. I installed the new oil filter and cranked on it again for another minute or so and still 29-33 icp unplugged the icp and still no start. I cant hear a leak after I turn off the key and everything sounds normal. So I think ill order the o rings just to have them here just incase. any thoughts?

Did a search on this ^^^number. Can get it cheaper, try your local parts house to cross reference it, see what they say.
The part # 1843682C91 does not contain the HPO d-rings in the injectors. For that you need:

Alliant Power Injector Seal Kit. AP0002

Let me slightly correct myself - I have been told by folks I trust (several) that the International and/or Motorcraft part numbers quoted above will not include the needed d-rings. I know that the Alliant Power kit does have them. Sean's (amdriven2liv) link to Oregon Fuel Injection makes it sound like they do include them .

btw - thanks for the reps!

The kit ford sells does not include them im 100% sure I talked to 3 different parts guys at 3 different dealerships and they cant even get the D-rings. I bought the seal kits from ford when I had my injectors out. Sure wish they would include these could save allot of people a ton of time.

3C3Z9229AA (Ford part #) = CM5055 (Motorcraft #) = 1843682C91 (IH #)

None of these have the "D" ring. They have a black o-ring (upper), white o-ring (lower), blue o-ring (injector connector), and copper crush washer. The Alliant Kit (AP0002) is probably only available through their dealer network (like Oregon Fuel Injection).
