transfer case fluid/oil ?

Just changed the rear outward seal on my NP205 transfer case because it was leaking a lot. Now that the leak is fixed (I hope) and some of the fluid/oil came out, I think it would be best to refill it.

What type of fluid/oil goes in the NP205 Transfer case, if any specific kind?

ok great thanks!

By the way I am assuming the fill hole is the top []-shaped bolt on the right side of the case, correct?

right you are ...the bottom to drain , top to fill.
get on level ground and fill till it starts to run back out and your good to go
