how to wire heated mirrors

I have the 03-07 mirrors with the turn signals. i have had all the lights hooked up for a couple years, but never wired in the heat. i remember reading something about relays or fuses in line. anyone have any ideas for me regarding the installation?

thanks guys

I wired my heated mirrors to the window hot wire in each door. They don't draw a ton of juice so they've always been OK without a fuse. The problem is they are always on when the truck is running. You can find a late 90's Explorer rear window defrost dash switch to wire them to instead. Those switches had an internal delay so the mirrors only heat for 15 minutes and then turn off. The switch also looks factory as well.
