Heated mirrors

Im looking to add heated mirrors to my 02 mirrors. I dont want to upgrade to the newer ones that come with it.I was wondering if anyone has done it and if i can get info, or knows of a write up on it.

you can install up to the 08 mirrors, but I don't know where I saw the write up for that, but there is one.

Here's the write-up I used. I have a set from an EX without the running lights but you get the idea from this write-up. Also, I just wired my heated mirrors to the window hot wire in each door so they would be on when the truck is running.

New Mirror installation

I have some of the 03-07 style mirrors with the lights and heat, and they are easy to hook up, just running the wires is a little bit of a pain.

so has anyone used 99-2003 mirrors and took a newer mirrosr that has heat and added to there 1999-2003 mirror. I want to use my 02 mirror cuz i already put led running lights and blinkers on it. so now i just would like to add heat.

I've never heard of anyone going that route, or if there is even a kit or reasonable way to do it. You're out in uncharted territory on this one friend, sorry to say...

I'm curious about the mods to your current mirrors though... mind posting some pics?
