Question High Pressure Oil Help

hey guys...
during live tuning Jody noticed that at high HP tunes and when im on the throttle hard my DC goes to 80% and the ICP is at about 1700. it starts out at 3000 and falls as fast as the pedal is pressed. he said its probably either hpop or injectors. well the injectors have 203k on them, and the hpop is a modded 17 installed 2 summers ago. but both Jody and Jim(rat49f6) said the modded hpop is only as good as the returned core. so im thinking about doing a t500 for a christmas present to the truck, but my question is this....

any way to definitely determine its either the pump or the injectors? im sure injectors are in the future...because i have serious PMS...but dont have the funds to do it now. what do you guys think??

thanks a lot for any help or opinions....

Having a strong HPOP is they key. The T500 is a great upgrade, just remember if you go to bigger sticks it can take more oil to get the most out of them. You may want to look at the T1000 if you really plan to be pushing it later on. Having more than enough oil will not hurt, except maybe the wallet..

thanks...i would think the biggest injectors id be looking at would be single shot stage 1...dont single shots require less oil? the only time i see the icp drop is when im on it hard. regular everyday driving is fine...but i would think a new hpop would even show inprovements there...right?

Yes, a new HPOP would be the trick. The PCM is demanding a lot of oil based on the tune. That is why you are seeing the high duty cycle demand from the PCM. It is trying to fulfill the request of the skinny pedal.
