Check the hoses, they will rot out over time. That would be the air hoses going to the defroster

I have a couple of the hoses if you are in need...which side ?? I also have a couple of the big accordion ducts that connect at the kick panel...
I just pulled a heater out of a clean clean truck...inside clean...accordion duct full of needles...literally half way up the dia of it!!! The kick panel full to bottom of floor vent...pulled heater apart once out..needles got to the core a bit too blocking it somewhat...
