Ok I have the broken blend door. SO I have a shutoff valve in the heater hose to stop hot water from getting to the Heater Core so I can use the A/C. I had a fear that an air bubble might get in the line when I used the shutoff valve...but I was assured that would not happen.
Well, now that I have the line shut off, the temp hand constantly eases up to HOT, then immediately and FASTLY drops to Cold.....back and forth, back and forth....
I can open the valve back up and the temp hand begins to stabilize back out....WHAT NOW???
You need to put a by-pass valve in line.the water needs to cirulate like its running through the heater core.Or you can just dicconect the heater hoses and use a a pice if pipe to splice them together,

Folks sometimes overlook that sticky; lots of good info in there.
Tried the fix 3 times...its too far gone to fix....I eventually want to replace the plenum, but all my money seems to be going to Gas for some reason hehe...
