OD light flashing

OD light flashing
So going to dinner tonight and noticed the OD light flashing. So I drove about a mile shut the truck off restarted it and the light was off and the OD button worked so I drove that was about 5 miles and it never came back on shifted fine and ran good. Ill pull the codes tomorrow but in the mean time what do you guys think happened.

Mine started doing that when it was slipping. The computer can see it is slipping more than you can and if it sees a difference it can throw a code. You need to pull codes to really find out though........otherwise we are all guessing.

It happened to mine too. All I had to do was replace the OD button. Its an easy fix. But yes its best to get the codes!

The important one:
P0500 VSS Vehicle speed sensor malfunction Sensor, circuit, PCM, PSOM, TR failure, low trans. fluid
The others:
P0475 EPR Exhaust pressure control valve malfunction Open/grounded ckt., solenoid open/shorted, failed PCM EBPV delete?
P0541 MIAH Manifold intake air heater... Open/short circuit MAIH delete?
The B codes are body codes and I don't have a list for those.

Driving home today noticed the speedo not working tossed the truck up in neutral restarted the truck and worked fine. Got the new sensor so we'll see what happens tomorrow.
