LEVELING KIT PROBLEMS

I installed an Autospring leveling kit in my 2007 F150 XLT ,single cab 5.4 4x4 with heavy duty pkg.It looked great with my 34" Nitto's BUT, it just about topped out the suspention,so when I hit bumps the control arms would contact the springs. I just bought a 2011 F150 XLT scab, ecoboost 4x4 with the standard suspention.Am I going to have the same problem???

What size leveling kit did you have problems with?
I had a 2" Autospring in my 06 and I have a 2" Autospring in my '11. Neither one gave me any problems.

I do not recommend anything more than a 2" net lift for an 09+ unless you will be strictly driving it on the street "granny" style.

The installation alone of a thicker spacer than that is headache enough...

I have a 2.5" kit on my 09 and I've had no problems at all.

I am watching this thread because I want to go with a 2" AS level, 305 55r20 on my stock wheels and air bags in the rear for towing. I would go with the full AS level with spring kit but I do not want the rear more than 1/2" or so higher than the front. Any thoughts? What about just adding a block 1/2" taller than the oem which works perfect at stock rake when I tow.

I thought the autos print kits had a cutout to avoid the contact you mentioned. Maybe they've redesigned them since your last kit...

Or maybe something is a little loose?

Im thinking because it was a heavy duty the front was already up some and with the kit it was too much.

read the description on ebay about the newer design. "offset design" eliminates the spring contact

They have been offset for quite a while. The kit I put on my 06 back in 06 was the offset design.
