Leveling Kit question

What's Up everyone?? I have a 05 f150 4.6 supercab and just mounted a 6'8" snowdogg plow on it...(works great) The truck doesn't even seem to sag much in the front with the plow on it, but i wanted to install a leveling kit regardless. Could anyone recommend some brands for me. Thanks for anyones help.

most of the guys on here, including myself use an auto spring front leveling kit they make a few different size spacers. Autospringcorp.com Some guys like Daystar, some have skyjacker, just google f150 leveling kit and youll get them all to come up. Watch the prices and the materials, Ive gone with the autospring because they offer steel spacers. That is your best bet and they are cheap. Im sure youll have a bunch of responses to this thread very soon.

I also have an AutoSpring leveling kit. I only went with 1.5" but it works great!

I went with the Rancho QuickLift System in the front and Rancho RS9000 in the rear. It leveled the truck and gave me the 9 different shock settings, very good system

No, AS makes 1.5 inch, 2, 2.5 and 3 inch spacers that will give you the height over factory. He has a smaller spacer than you ordered. Put your truck on a flat level surface and measure the ground to wheel well across the centerline of the wheel, you may find (depending on the health of the rear springs) you may end up needing to do something in the rear to either level the truck or raise the rear to retain the 'rake'. When you get your spacers they wont be more than 1.5 inches tall if you take a tapemeasure to them but the kit you got will give you 2.5 inches. It has to do with the angles of the front end, so dont worry when your wondering how this little spacer will give the height.

I believe the 2.5" leveling kit will give you about a level look. I went with 1.5" because I tow relatively often and I didn't want the truck to sag while towing.

Actually, if you are going to measure, then you are better off measuring from the wheel well arch lip to the center of the hubs. This will be more precise than measuring to the ground. Measuring to the ground will take into account tire air pressures, ground inconsistences, etc.

Are all the pics in your garage with the leveling kit on? I was thinking the 1.5 with Monroe shocks or just Bilstein 5100's...want to do something real soon. But I don't want the nose in the air look and also pull a trailer occasionally.

The Bilstein 5100s come highly recommened from lots of sources. They will be what I replace the factory struts/shocks with when the time comes.
Most people have said that the higher of the three settings (stock, 1", ~2") will give you a level ride if your suspension has not sagged or you don't have a decent load in the bed at all times.
The 1" setting will give you a little height adjustment, still have some rake (nose down) but the overall appearance should be better.
