HELP: Headlight switch question...!
Hi all, I've been trying to remove the dash panel on my 94 rig to replace the rear/tailgate power window switch, but the headlight switch **** at the left keeps me from doing it... I tried pulling it and twisting it but it just doesn't come off, anybody have an idea of how to do it?, thanks...

Pull the **** all the way out. Look closely at the bottom of the "skirt" on the ****. there should be a narrow slot cut into it that runs parallel with the shaft. A very small flat screwdriver pressed up into this slot will release the spring-metal clip that holds the **** to the switch shaft. You will have to release the clip and pull the **** off at the same time.
