Please keep us updated on your Gear Box Z DPF-R findings. I'm thinking of going the same route and would like to hear your real world experience before making the change.
I just installed the dpf-r in my 2008 6.4. seems to run ok but the regen light came on and power dropped. had to shut off truck a couple times and then power came back up. anyone have an answer to this problem?
I am in the same boat. I have a stuck egr and wand to do a full delete. Remove the egr and run an aftermarket pipe, not just block off the egr. I think someone here posted they needed to run a jumper capacitor on the old egr harness to keep the computer happy. Can anyone confirm this or can you just leave the harness unplugged with the gearbox z.
Doing more research I think it was the throttle body harness that required the jumper.

Perfect, do you know if you still need to do this with the new generation programmer. I called yesterday but tech was not available. I am out of warranty so it is cheaper to go this route than to replace coolers and egr.
