ANYBODY RUNNING STOCK SETTINGS PROGRAMMER WITH DPFE DELETE OPTION PROGRAMMER

Is anyone out there running stock horsepower setting with DPFE DELETE Option ??
I'm wanting to try this but my superchips 1850 doesn't offer this.
Is the SCT & superchips the same company ??
Is SCT & Spartan the only two programmers that offers this setup I'm seeking ??
Thanks for your replies

I'd be interested to know too. If I delete mine, I just want to turn off the regen process. That is all. I don't want added hp due to concerns several have had with their transmissions. My 5er is close to 15k and don't want to hurt the truck.

this is probably another option:
Gear Box Z DPF-R Ford 4.0 Programmer GBZFD40

DPF-r or the R+.

this is probably what I would consider to just be at stock hp/tq minus the dpf.

SCT has ceased making the racing tunes, especially those that remove the DPF. As for Superchips, it's actually Edge/Superchips which are the same company, SCT is a different company. Edge/Superchips are no longer offering racing tunes either that remove the DPF.

As for who has the ability to just turn the regen function off, there is Spartan, H&S and GearboxZ offering the ability.

Of those, if your looking for as close to stock with minimal HP gains I would look at the GearBoxZ DPF-R+ which is less the $500 for the tuner and users have reported averaging 18-20mpg regularly (unladen).

I'm looking to do the same thing, which exhaust would you choose? I would like to keep my original Tip to keep any authorities from suspecting anything from a quick visual. And I am confused on whether or not the Cat has to go at the same time.

Never mind, I see that it is DPF on and you need exhaust and tuner if you want more...I read it wrong.

you do NOT need to remove the CAT if u remove the DPF, but it is easier to do both at once and not fight the bolts between doc and dpf.

I did the doc/dpf delete.. the stock muffler is straight thru anyhow.. so I kept my rear pipe and tips.

I did the AFE Cat/DPFE DELETE & ran stock muffler & tailpipe but HATED the horrible air blowing noise so I used the MBRP 4" muffler with the AFE 4" tailpipe & I'm very happy with this setup

Now IF I can just get my tranny shifting properly ...

I'm LIKING this GEARBOX Z DPF-R as you guys mentioned !!!!!

Upon further reading in the gearbox z dpfr-r,
Looks like it also deletes the egr valve operation ....

I believe it gives you the option of what what you want turned off but I'm verifying it with someone I know.

Here's the answer I received.

The programmer removes the functions for the EGR from the ECU. So if you do NOT block it off/remove or unplug the EGR it continues to function as normal. If you decide to Block off/remove or unplug the EGR then you will not get engine codes.

It sounds to me the DPF-R /R+ is the only option that doesn't mess with the stock tranny tune too. It appears every other tuner replaces the stock tune and folks may not like the higher performance shift strategies.

I'm confused.
If the EGR functions are REMOVED by the DPF-R, then how does the egr continue to function if the coolers are NOT blocked or removed ???

I believe they just remove the functions that would cause it to throw error codes if you deleted it. Mechanically it would still function but the PCM wouldn't acknowledge it the way it does on a stock tuned truck.
