I'm wondering If the OP is Reading The Tire Manuf lable Instead of the Ford Manuf lable , Back when ford was putting Firestones on there trucks after all of tire Issuies they made Manuf install ratings for there tires
,so that said it makes sence that ur under your GVRW, my 03/04 dont have that sticker just the little white one drivers panel which states
1. Front GVRW=4850
2. Back GVRW= 6830
TOTAL=11,680
I have had well over that and my truck never felt the diff ( well maybe a little)
and the other thing would be short bed rateing would be less than a long bed , due to the equel distrabution from front to back I know it dont make sence but neather do some of FORDS better Ideas
