ok guys as most of you no, doing lots of work on my ps,t500, new rosewoods and other goods, i got the donaldson filter on its way, now on oil, iam thinking bout going with motercraft 5w40 the senthtic, i used to run mobil delvac and rotieala , ran 15w40 moter craft in my 93, it seamed to hold up good, so is it a good oil to use , and would you run a bypass or not ??? i no some of us are thanks guys
I recommend Shaeffer's 7000 and Shaeffer's all trans oil, opps, you have a stick. I run the FS2500 bypass and have had some good oil tests after 10k miles. Shaeffer's also gives free oil tests. Under some testing its been shown that the 7000 oil doesn't sheer down like most. Joey, I think, runs it to. You might want to call him on that.

man 82 bucks for a case of 12 qts..... you been running it a while now glenn?your going 10k on oil change?? with bypass. what would it be with out bypass? thanks glenn
If you got that filter container off of Ebay then your almost there. Buy the two lines from FS2500 and a filter and your in business. I wonder what the reserve is? I pay 18 a gallon for the 7000. I would not go 10K without the bypass.
I've been runnin the rotella full synthetic for about a year now. It's a little pricey, 20-25 a gallon depending on where I get it, but I can drive to get it. Truck seems to really like it
King, I didn't mean to be a smart ***. I've been doing oil tests for many years now. They also **** me off, they keep telling me I have high lead and iron so I had a special test done and it showed everything normal. I guess a normal test is a chemical analysis where the special 'test' I did they actually look under a microscope at the oil. I'm starting to think they are a waste of time but Shaeffers does it for free.
